hey, I’m Musa Francis

HE/HIM/HIS

I’m a wellness coach, writer, and the founder of BLOOMING QUEER. I help self-employed LGBTQIA+ artists and creatives bloom into calmer, more joyful, and resilient versions of themselves.

Before I became a coach, I was an illustrator and print designer, and ran my own stationery design studio. I know what it’s like to build a creative business from your ideas—and how quickly it can start to feel overwhelming when your mind won’t slow down or quieten.

Alongside the pressures of running a creative business as a queer man, I’ve also navigated my own experiences with chronic stress, anxiety, burnout, and more. There were times when I lost connection with myself, my work, and the joy that led me to create in the first place.

Through working with coaches and developing my own self-care practices, I found my way back to more calm, joy, and resilience. That journey led me to retrain as a certified health and wellness, stress and anxiety management, and resilience coach—with a focus on supporting LGBTQIA+ people.

For nearly a decade now, I’ve been supporting queer creatives in creating regenerative self-care practices that nurture their wellbeing, creative practice, and business.

The practices in this guide are some of the same ones I return to myself—and the ones I share with my clients.
